Sido Kitchin

Sido Kitchin has enjoyed a 27-year career in media and entertainment, and has been at the helm of Woman’s Day since 2011. Cutting her teeth in community newspapers and women’s magazines, Sido switched to television publicity early in her career, working for Shortland Street, TV One and Sky TV before becoming Publicity Manager for TVNZ and Channel Seven in Melbourne. She returned home to edit New Zealand Woman’s Weekly for five years before moving to Woman’s Day in 2011. Sido has won Best Editor at the Magazine Publishing Association Awards five times and has been judged Supreme Editor of the Year. Sido lives in Auckland with her husband and two children.
